Kids Days Out In Cardigan

Cardigan sits at the mouth of the Teifi in west Wales and makes a quiet, manageable family day out. Cardigan Castle has been restored and now has gardens, exhibitions and space to sit, and the Heritage Centre on the quay covers the town's shipping history in a form children can follow. Celtic Quest Coasteering runs guided sessions along the coast for older children and teenagers who want something more adventurous. The beaches at Mwnt and Poppit Sands are both a short drive and good for dolphin spotting on a calm day.
