Shetland Pony Club, near Cobham

Shetland Pony Club is an award-winning children’s riding school based in Cobham, Surrey, England. We have lots of well-trained Shetland ponies for children to ride. For 15 years, we have been making children and ponies very happy. We specialise in beginners’ riding and first-riding experiences. Each child has their own individual trained person to help them with their pony. It’s fun, easy, and safe, and all our riding is on the lead rein. It’s an ideal place to start, and children can ride with us as young as three. Come and visit them and make your pony dreams come true. They are fully insured and hold a 5-star animal welfare licence, showing that we are committed to the highest standards of equine welfare. They are approved by the Association of British Riding Schools and operate to their standards. The senior staff have a range of equestrian qualifications, such as Liz Earl - a BHS Stage 3 Coach. They are also DBS checked and are trained in first aid and child safeguarding.  We are members of Intelligent Horsemanship, the Equestrian Employers Association, Charter Members of the Children and Nature Network and Surrey Hills Enterprises.
