Explore three large tropical invertebrate houses - they have over 200 different species of invertebrates covering many of the arthropod groups. You can book an hourly handling session where you will handle several large insects and other invertebrates - kids and adults LOVE this activity! During holidays and weekends, the insect park is at its busiest, so make sure you pre-book your ticket and the handling sessions to avoid disappointment. Not only that, but they also have a HUGE jumping pillow that can fit 28 kids at once! Lots of bouncing fun to be had here before heading to their undercover sandpit! The kids can build sandcastles and pretend they're at the beach! Along with the newest attractions, such as Pond Dipping and Fairground Games, there's fun to be had by everyone.

With plenty of informative wall boards and loads of large creepy crawlies, there are so many things to do at this excellent tropical invertebrate park! It's the ultimate wildlife experience for families.

Food & Drink

Set in a woodland setting, families can chill out and savour the sweet delights of the Chrysalis Café. Did you know this butterfly-themed Café has a butterfly picture gallery, too? After you've finished eating some delicious grub, grab a souvenir from the gift shop. Don't worry, if you run out of time on the day, you can purchase gifts on the The Bug Parc online store too!

It's also worth noting if you wish to bring your furry friends, dogs are welcome on the patio outside the Café but cannot come into the parc.
