Monikie Country Park, Angus

Monikie Country Park is located in Angus, just north of Monifieth and is open all year round. With reservoirs, woodland, parkland and trails at Monikie Country Park it makes it the ideal place for a relaxing visit to the Countryside. There is ample parking, picnic areas and playgrounds.

Schools/Colleges, Community Groups, Families and Organisations all use our Country Park to book sessions in Environmental Activities led by our Rangers. We also offer Team Building,
Rafting, Kayaking/Canoeing, Sailing, Windsurfing, High Ropes and Mountain Biking. With over 25 years of experience delivering outdoor education, you and your family can relax and enjoy the activities we have on offer.

At Monikie, hire of Watersports equipment and courses are available from May to October. We also run children's activity weeks throughout the summer holidays that give a taste of all the activities we have to offer here. 
The Ropes Course at Monikie offers you the chance to try out something different and guaranteed to get the adrenaline flowing. Low ropes, high ropes and a 160m zipline all in one session! Sessions for adults or children are instructor led and usually last 2 hours. You can book a private session for different types of groups and birthday parties etc.

We also have a marquee that is available for hire throughout the summer for kids birthday
parties or family get togethers etc.
