Only one hours drive
from London Wiltshire is a great place to go for a day out or
perhaps a longer weekend. This historic county includes the famous
Stonehenge and also the Avebury Stone Circle. There are several National
Trust properties but if you prefer walking why not head for the Avon and
Kennet Canal or perhaps the Ridgeway. If you enjoy cycling the Ridgeway
route between Barbury Castle and Avebury is ideal for all the family. |

|
We always
suggest you ring beforehand if visiting with disabled children as all
attractions within the place you are visiting may not be accessible,
depending on disablement, and whether or not if you have a helper.
Our guide is popular with families and as a school resource for educational trips. For opening times click through to website or telephone attraction. Some attractions close during the winter. |
